Last December, we made AAC ‘ornaments’ for our Last December, we made AAC ‘ornaments’ for our staff and now we are making AAC ‘signs’ with an important message for AAC awareness month. We wanted this model to be slightly larger so that teachers could display it somewhere inside or outside of their classroom, so my husband created a new file and printed 200 of them for the staff at our school 🤩 Shout out to @aacforall for sharing her genius idea to 3D print communication devices around this time last year. I’ve been obsessed ever since. Comment “device” and I’ll send you a link to the FREE 3D printing file I used.
We are so excited to give a copy of the Communicat We are so excited to give a copy of the Communication Bill of Rights to every single staff member at our school for AAC awareness month. There is so much awareness and understanding that needs to continue around AAC. New teachers, veteran teachers, support staff-everyone can benefit from the important reminders in the bill of rights. Access to communication is a basic human right and we hope this visual serves as a great reminder for all students and staff.
